30 of Malta’s most promising Table Tennis athletes, yesterday evening batteled it out on the courts to eventually determine the winners in the main draw and Plate event at the 3rd National u15 tournament.
Sharp Shot athletes, Sacha Pace and Matthew Camilleri both made it to the finals. Sacha won his encounter 3 – 2 over Ryan Paul Camilleri in an all attack vs attack stratergy from both youngsters. Matthew won the Plate final by applying a cautious tactic combined with phases of offensive play against a promising Anthea Cutajar. Only two days ago our athlete Jurgen Sammut was once again protagonist in the under 18 final, this time finishing in a respectfull second place.
